Arbiter Security Aletheia v1.4

Terms of Service

Status: v1.4 terms. Effective at general availability.

These terms govern use of the hosted Aletheia service and signed desktop application supplied by Arbiter Security. By using the service you confirm that you can enter this agreement and will follow the Acceptable Use Policy.

Service and Accounts

Aletheia provides machine-assisted binary analysis and evidence management. It does not guarantee that a binary is safe, vulnerable, exploitable, or free from defects. You remain responsible for authorization, professional judgment, testing scope, disclosure, and use of generated evidence.

You must protect account and API credentials and promptly report compromise. Quotas, worker capacity, supported platforms, and beta features may change with reasonable notice. Invite-only and preview features may be interrupted or withdrawn.

Data and Intellectual Property

You retain rights in selected local binaries and customer data. You grant us only the limited rights needed to process policy-approved derived evidence to provide, secure, and support the service. Raw binaries remain on your device and are not transmitted to Aletheia's cloud, evidence database, or backup stores. Derived cloud evidence expires under the published retention policy unless you delete it sooner.

Aletheia and its software, documentation, and service design remain our property or that of our licensors. Feedback may be used without obligation, provided it does not disclose your confidential material.

Billing, Suspension, and Termination

Paid plans renew according to the checkout terms. Taxes may apply. You may cancel through the billing portal. Account purge cancels an active Aletheia subscription before deleting account data. If cancellation cannot be confirmed, deletion pauses so it can be retried. Legally required payment and reconciliation records may be retained as described in the deletion policy.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk, non-payment, or provider requirements. You may export eligible evidence and delete runs through product controls before termination.

Warranty and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, preview and research features are provided as-is and without a promise of uninterrupted operation or complete findings. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule, aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to fees paid for the service in the preceding twelve months. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss where such exclusion is lawful.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
